This picture was taken with a group of little girls who have organized a book club. They read a book, then try to do an activity that would be similar to the book. They had just finished a book about horses, so one of the moms contacted me to see if the girls could come out and meet Tiger and learn more about horses. I showed them how to pick out the hooves, bathe, brush and clip a horse. I also showed them how to properly lead, give treats, and generally how to behave around horses. I rode Tiger for them and explained a little about the history of the Paso Fino and the various gaits and what to watch for in a show. The girls had a great day and Tiger enjoyed their visit too. I think the girls went away with a better knowledge and understanding of horses. Who knows, maybe one will want to buy a Paso someday. There were about 8 little girls there, but a few left before the picture.
