I am so excited to have my paso mare Regalo Sin Precio back. She was my first paso foal. I raised and trained then sold her to a wonderful family. Unfornately, that had problems and the horse was sold and never transferred out of their names. I tried but could not locate her. Well to make a long story short, I found her advertised in the local paper and now she is home. Could the bloodline experts please take a look http://www.pasoregistry.com/db/Profile.asp?ID=90665 I know her sire was a reserve National champion performance stallion and her grand sire on the dam's side was a National champion performance stallion. Any other information would be great. She is so sweet. I had thought about possibly breeding her some time so any suggestions would also be appreciated.

I know know a number of the horses on your mare's registration papers personally - and have some of those bloodlines in one of my mares. Email me and I'll be happy to shar ewhat I know...
Just curious about whether she followed the sire's or the dam's bloodlines... I knew Mari-Star, Morning Star, Mariscalato... have a great B&W head shot of Garbo that I took years and years ago. Knew Cefiro and have a short video clip of him at 1980 nationals, I think, in Stallion Performance.

Wendy, how wonderful that you were able to find her and buy her back. You are very lucky. Now please do post a picture of her.

She looks to have a pretty solid foundation Colombian bloodline (Meridian Meadows "que tal" (Hilachas, Eblis) horses, Ray Gillis's stallion Cirano, pedigree with some PR (Faeton and Jericho) thrown in for a mix. Have you seen my Claasic Legacy website...alot of the same names are there.

I had a mare (see Lolita de Powr Mako) with similar breeding. Mari-Star and that line are Cuban bred Pasos. I have photos of some of the Pasos in your mare's pedigree...the Cefaro (sp) line...and more.
