Anyone else like me?? Since mine is only half Paso it is hard for me to know what a PB is like but I am sure fairly simalar except they gait out faster and not just when you collect them up like I have to do with Thunder.

I think we are ALL in your boat. ;-) I know I learn something new almost everyday.
Only having been in Paso for about 4 years, I have learned a lot, but never enough. ;-)

Tell us how you got into the breed.

It was so weird. I thought I had a Mustang, blue roan gelding. He came from an auction no branding. I found out he came out of Navada somewhere. Turns out I had a PF cross, grey, stallion!! He was only 13.2 hh and 18 months old. I didn't know he was gaited until someone pointed it out on a trail ride. I thought thier was something wrong with him and so did the vet I had. Come to find out by the way he walks and his comformation he had PF in him so the three breeders said that I sent photos and video's to.

Have you gotten to ride or see many other full blooded Paso Finos?

Oh she is purty! I have not had the pleasure of trying of those yet. But I hope to in the future.
How do you compare the two rides?

That is great you found out your gray boy is a 1/2PF, your mare is nice lookin too!! :D

I like the look of the PF better and as for smoothness If I get a chance to ride a PB PF I will let you know. With repect to ALL gaited breeds they are all smooth to ride in thier own ways.

Hi Pasoluvr, i have a half Paso half walking horse, she is super, gaits more like a paso, super trail horse PB are great but you can't ride them papers. (sorry but grade horses need love too) enjoy your beautiful horses. :grayhorse:
