It pays to read the rules of this auction. The first rule, the custom for bidding in Brazil to bid the amount of monthly payments that when having paid 18 is the total amount. So your bid is not the price that you are paying for the horse. The price you are paying for the horse is your bid times 18. That would be a big OOOPS.

that is a very interesting concept.... so selling as installment sale contract at auction so the horses can be afforded to be purchased at closer to what the sellers really want in a sale price. The way the have it set up is a 6 day process... 2 day dressage clinic kicks it off, farm tour activities, each day planned out, meals often included, (not beverages), 2 days preview of horses, ... all leading up to the grand finale auction day!

wine and dine, treat like royalty and they shall spend big!? hmmm..... not always
