Went to a tack swap!! uuuooohhhhhh

Yep, a big one!!lol

I had a list of things to get and also sold some stuff including my aussie saddle.. ACutally it ends to day and i go back to see if the stuff sells..

I got some fabulous deals!!

THese are rough out leather saddle bags, usually $80-$100 and i got both for only $24!!!! :shock:

Got two new girths to try out, the brown one is felt and the black one has some non-slip stuff on it.. Gonna try both to see which one works best, both were $12 ea:

I also got 2 horse t-shirts for $5, a really nice brown cordoroy jacket for only $5, abig lariat bag for $3.. Man I was sure havin fun!!!

Watch the neoprene girth! I wouldn't use on a horse that is in winter coat, they GRAB the hair and it HURTS!! I have it on 'good authority'....Zar told me.

Thanks for the tip on the neoprene non-slip girth, i have never used one, I will wait to try it till he sheds out, but the felt one should be ok..

"Wither risers"? Explain please!

I call them wither risers, I know they are called somethin else.. They are felt pads that go underneith the saddle pad to raise the saddle off the withers.. Storms columbian sits low on his withers so I got this to raise it up..

I tried it on him today, worked good!

My aussie didnt sell. Bummer. I went to pick it up today. But just gives me another reason to go to another local tack swap in a few weeks. Maybe it will sell then

Really Debbie? That is too bad... :cry: I just love them, do you have any 4H groups around? They usually always have tack swaps, maybe look online, I bet you will find one!!
