Congratulations Tami! But you guys sure know how to cheer someone up. Got home today; after going for a short ride; to find out that all the Easter decorations we spent hours putting out on Sat. had been taken down by the neighbor because she's having a tree cut down. Never said anything to us on Sat., like could you wait until next weekend, I'm having the tree cut down that is between us, and they will be in the way. Plus yesterday, another one of our neighbors and a friend, was involved in a really bad car accident. Her car is demolished-she has a shattered knee and shattered ankle on her right leg. But she is lucky to be alive. And through all this all she can think about is the cats at a cat shelter where she spends most of her time. There is nobody else to take care of them. Another lady owns it but never spends any time there. I told my friend that I guess that Lady is going to have to start isn't she? The Drs. told her that it is going to be at least six months before she will even begin to put weight on that leg. So this thread really helped to cheer me up. Thanks!!

All right - I have to feed the little critters up here on top of the mountain before I can sit and play with pics on the computer, but after I'm done I'll try to get up the shots I took this evening! I also have one of our resident mascot of the barn lot - "Stupid Chicken". Yep that's his name and he even does a stupid chicken dance....
Be back a little later - got to finish up! ;-)

Here you go...
since I took so long I will put up the photo with the baby born yesterday (on the left) and the one born a couple of days ago (on the right...)
http://www.morningstarpasofino.com/farm/2006/weaving/new-lamb.jpg

Now this is "Stupid Chicken" and I know you think that is not very nice but the name REALLY fits him.... and he is THE ONLY chicken I have ever known that LOVES to take a bath in the spray from my hose that has holes in it.... It is just a hoot to watch him stand there and get soaked no matter what the weather is.

He also does the most hilarious "dance" or walk or whatever...... The other chickens will have nothing to do with him!

Awww, Shoot, Tami! what wonderful little babies and Thank you for sharing!

Well no wonder he's stupid. He's a rooster and you keep callin' him a chicken. He has an identity crisis. Those lambs are soo cool. You can just feel how soft they are from the photo. Not quite as good as the Panda baby pics that have been going around. But for sure a close second.

I do have to admit that at that young age they are fun to hold and kiss on....
later on they get too bouncy! LOL
Well if it is as nasty tomorrow as it is right now (raining) I get to shear the Mom's...
I am waiting for my Angora Goat to have her baby(s).... She is so cute so I can just imagin what the little ones will be like!
BTW - I have several pasos in waiting (first is due on the 16th)......sorry, cameras are not working cause the cable is not in the ground yet....

Awwww, now I can comment since there are pics!

TOO CUTE - I just love baby animals of any sort. They are so sweet just adorable. I can't wait to find a good fainting buck for Cecelia so I can have a little fainting goat next year.

Funny, but baby humans don't have the same effect for me.

You better be careful if Alex has kids because Matthew and I will come over there and "steal them". You know much we love Alex.

AWWWWWWW - they are soooooo cute!!!

There is a local photographer that buys I think it's young angora goats or lambs or something and uses them to do portraits with. They are really cute. She has a farm they go to for wool after she finishes with them during the Easter season. She had one on a leash in Petsmart and it was really cute!
