Harold and I took Maggie and her owner Eileen for a ride at Yellow River yesterday. They are still working on Half so we had to ride one side, only about 3 miles max. I took Gally the mare that prefers to Troche. Well Vicky has done a little back tune up but Mainly got her in a good fitting saddle. Well she was a gaiting machine yesterday. Not Porcy smooth and had to ask her to stay in gait, but she was fireing on all four cylinders. There are some really nice new wooden bridges that we just had to take several trips across.

Today Su and I were headed for Hard labor creek. As we were driving up I realized the Coggins were at home 50 miles away. So we decided to stop at Charles Elliot instead. I know still no Coggins but at least no one checking them at the gate. To our surprise there was not a single other rider there. I guess the 5 mile loop is better suited for a cold quick ride and most wanted to make a day trip out of the beautiful spring day.

Well Su and I decided to jump on Porcy and Two and do the 5 miles come back eat lunch and do another loop. Which we did. And boy was Porcy hitting it again today. She is just such a joy to ride. She just gaits to beat the band. No thinking about it, collecting her up, working her into gait. She is just there tica taca tica taca along she goes. Just sit back and enjoy the scenery. Just Su me and two wonderful Pasos to make it complete.

Now to get the grill going for some T bones and Pina' Coladas. And another wonderfull chapter in this life will be in the book.

Sounds much nicer then my snow, shoveling manure, doing laundry and stripping beds! Oh well! I played yesterday at the Expo, and going TDY tomorrow...so, had to get done.

Enjoy your evening.
