lessee.... first, let me say I've met the nicest people!!
I always thought Mississippi was the hospitality state, but I was proved wrong over the last 10 days. We do have friendlier drivers though :razz:
Saturday, the 4th, we went to Deb Deskert's place in Plant City. I've been chatting with her for a while, but never had met before. Terrific lady. Deb and her mom (another terrific lady) went out of their way for us, even went to the Strawberry festival. :smile:
I met the two horses there, Jochi and Bianca (forgive me if I mispell anything). Rode Bianca. Nice, smooth ride. Great horse. Deb would't let me take her home. :(
They cooked us a very nice steak dinner, entertained us, and made plans for the next day.
Sunday, we went out to Dale Davis' ranch. I think it was Davis. My apologies if i'm wrong. Her sign said Dale Evans something, and Evans stuck in my head. lol
I'd name names of the horses we saw, but i'd screw them up, so I won't.
Monday, we went up to Ocala, to Jim and Cyndy's (pasofantasy) house.
I got to ride Fred again on a nice ride with Jim. Visited, then they took us out to eat. They won't let me take any horses home either. :(
Saturday, we went to Pasomom's. Met Lori, Barb, and Larry. I rode Tequila :D and Candy. Then Debbie and Pat showed up with their horses. More super nice people. :smile:
We went on a nice little ride, me on Candy. That horse likes to go. Poor girl, I about wore her out, I think. Then, a break and I got to ride Debbie's horse, Argo. Another wonderful horse, especially for what she paid. :smile:
Larry cooked for us, they all entertained us, and I am just so impressed.
I mentioned, a couple times, that I'd be back next year and every year thereafter. lol I think they think I was teasing. ;-)
All in all, I had the best time, and I thank Deb and Mom, Cyndy and Jim, and Lori, Barb, Larry, Debbie, and Pat for making it possible. Thank you so much.

Joey, is that chapstick in your pocket, or are you just really excited to be riding with Lori? Happy birthday, indeed! Nice job of taking your eyes off her boobs long enough for a picture to be taken, BTW.

I'm busy uploading pix for you guys now, although I was so busy saddling up and having fun, I didn't get very many. I hope you have more for us Deb. How bout some of the ones I took of you on Eclipse?

Well, actually, Mother Nature was my landscape designer, All I did was build around what she provided! We didn't cut down the first tree, getting our house squeezed in there. When we came to a tree, we made a corner! ;-) (We DID design the house - it is definately custom built!) ;-)
It is very pretty this time of year with the beautiful new green growth coming out on the oak trees. Of course, we have tons of leaves on the ground and the oak pollen is falling like rain most of the day and nite right now! It has its pluses and minuses, but the pluses way out weight the minuses!

By the way, just so you don't get confused...the house is not included in any of these shots....the building you see is our BBQ. The house is just to the right of the sidewalk you see. We are in the country...that is not a neighborhood sidewalk ;-) But those beautiful trees surround the house front and back. It really is a beautiful spot.

Joey - feeling was mutual! I was on the road all week last week, and brought back a heck of a cold, and still haven't downloaded the pics I took. I'll try to do so tonight and add to the post. I only have a few of you and Marcella on Bianca tho!

Wow, those are some beautiful looking pasos you got to see. Looks like your vacation was a blast all the way around. ;-)

I'll tell ya... the horses were great, but (and this is from a very non-people person) the people were what made the trip.
Most of them anyway. ;-)

It shows, as one can see in the picture, that you love my Bella Forma Grand Champion from the "95 Everglades show! Since you won't let me ride my little stud to show you how he looks in action, we had to sneak it by showing him in long lines when putting him away. ;) You're probably going to tell me, that you were just being a gentleman! :lol: I wish, that the flash hadn't hit his eye like that! :(
