August 12-13 - $25 a person. Sounds like fun. I am planning to be there. Would anyone like to join me? It is always more fun to attend these things with a buddy!

We love Clinton Anderson on TV so we'll definitely go unless something major comes up at the same time. We'll have to put it on the calendar!
Got Brio?

Is Clinton going to be there? I would love to see him. Wouldn't it be fun to have a Paso group attend together? Oh rats!!! That's our beach week. Sorry...week at the beach trumps paso party with Clinton Anderson! :bsmile

Hmmm - no Paso shows that weekend... at the arena? Wonder if I could park the trailer there and hook-up in the RV section?

Make sure he's 'dry' that weekend. ;-) I was told he was too drunk to perform at one day of the Arizona Expo....he apoligized the next day, but the people that were there the 'drunk' day were pretty upset. He did okay at the Colorado Expo though.
I participated in a three day clinic with Clinton Anderson. This was three years ago, but he definitely didn't drink at all during that time at least. Considering how rumors fly, I think he'd be toast, not only as a trainer at shows, but with his sponsors too, if he had done something like that more than once...

I've only seen Clinton at the Equine Affaire in MA. I wish I could go to a clinic of his. He's hysterical!
I thought some of his techiniques were the same as some of the other trainers.....but his narratives that went with them were memorable. I wish I had horse tv. I'd love to see more of him.

i went to one of his clinics three years ago. go if you get the chance. you can learn a lot by just watching, but it is even better to get into the clinic with your horse. it was the best time, money and effort i have put into horse training. we had 16 people with their horses in the arena, so clinton was able to spend a lot of time with each person. some of the things i like most about his methods: (1) it is easy to learn (2) you get immediate results (3) it makes sense to the horse
it is basically a lot of common sense and hard work, but that is horse training!
