Grace and I are spending some time with our attorney to decide what is to happen to our animals should something happen to us both at the same time like an auto accident or hurricane.
I would like to compose a list of people that would give our horses and pets good homes. I will give our attorney this list.
If you would like to volunteer we would be very happy to forward your names to our attorney. Please do not agree to do so without knowing the facts.
We have 4 cats that are all house cats and will let you know when they want to go outside.
Snowball a white cat that loves sunshine
Squeaks that terrorizes the other 3 cats only female
Tiger that will love you to death and sleeps on our bed
Dusty a creampoint siamiese that loves everybody and chases snowball every chance he gets.
Mego a grandson of Bochica that has a wonderful gait and smooth ride
Teevo who was abused by his former owner and bucks when you first get on but settles down and has a fantastic gait
Apache an appaloosa that has wonderful ground manners but because of his abuse by former owners bucks a lot
Moose our doberman is a wonderful dog and has his own sofa bed
Miss T is a box turtlle that weighs almost 2 pounds and has a very great cage and environment with her own swimming pool.
We are just preparing for the inevitable because of our ages
If you would be interested in taking any of these animals please e-mail me
Bob@EAPFR.com or Vilcomon@aol.com
Please note that preparations are in place to take care of them until they are picked up. Our attorney will contact all if the situation arises.
Thank you all in advance.

Good idea Bob. We all need "godparents" for our critters.

Well we tried and since no one wants the rest of them our vet has a court order to put them all down if anything happens to me and Grace. I really thought people would love to have some of them. Guess they are not important enough but they will be buried according to our wishes.

I told you at one time that I would try to find a home for Apache. Don't think no one wants them. I just now read this post.

Well you do also have to consider that people just can't make up their mind in a few minutes and go "sure we want another horse/dog/cat ". Thye have to consider their plans for the future and what not..Give it some time

Please try to understand we are only trying to prepare that our animals have good homes if something happens to us at the same time.
I have GREAT NEWS, our vet has asked us to give him 90 days to try to find homes for our animals that are not asked for before he has too put them down. We gave him that permission. He has agreed to see that they are well cared for. We are just trying to make sure that all of our horses and pets are well cared for if possible. I am sure he will find them homes if it is needed we have a wonderful vet.

Bob, I am SURE that is all that you are wanting. Just don't think that because no one jumps in in two days that no one would help. Like Shelley and I said, we just now saw these posts. Because the board is kind of fragmented now, I think not everyone reads all the forums.
You should make sure that the vet has access to this board, and if something should happen to both of you at the same time, he (she?) could let us know and I am sure everyone would jump into action to make sure all the animals were taken care of.

Your animals are very fortunate to have such a kind and considerate owner. I often worry about mine if something were to happen to me.
Two dogs I have now because their owner committed suicide and they were left to wander the neighborhood. I started feeding them because they were so hungry and abandoned. My beagle was a stray that I took in and counting my doberman, my dog food bill runs higher than my horse feed bill!!

Meet you what Shelley said (she's a better judge of character than most of you bleeding hearts), raise you this (and more, but I deleted it all to avoid a flame-war):
