The ride is ususally about 2 to 2.5 hours long. Don't forget to bring a coggins. I'm about 10 miles from Joni's. I'll PM my phone number to you for more specific directions.

Bailey-
If you want to attend one of these rides and if I am planning on going, you are more than welcome to meet me there or at my barn and ride on of my horses.

I would plan on going if it weren't for all of the unknowns with Pa.
I am staying close to home this weekend...I am planning on watching the Cowboy Mounted Shooting event at Chicopee in Gainesville.

Thanks Mel, You are very kind, but that is not what is keeping me from going. Its the fact that everytime I make plans to do something or go somewere something else comes up and I have to change my plans. This time it is my Dad coming in from GA for me to drive him to Union so his girlfriend won't think he can stay for the weekend.

Enjoyed Paula's hospitality and offer to spend the night before the ride so I could get there on time... Good thing because I might have balked with the cloudy skies and rain north of the ride!
But - everything worked out well - Pike County Saddle Club did a very nice job of hosting the ride! Bronce and I had a great ride through a really nice area (former hunt club property) with about 40 other riders. At the end of the ride, there were some really nice prizes for thepoker hand winners... I even snagged a bucket of 'NickerMakers' - Pete will be my new best friend when he finds out!
