Some of us were pretty shocked at their representation of horses for sale, ill-fitting tack, etc. Some people felt that we were wrongly picking on them...

Well, check this out, or google "Mountain Dew Farms" and see what pops up. This is AWFUL as is the level of punishment that these people got

I was so shocked when I came across this. It seems that someone bought a horse from them that died the next day. They filed a complaint and alerted the authorities.

I remember some of the pics on their website...a draft in a shipping halter that was waaaay too small, a bunch of awful pics of "quality gaited horses" in ill fitting tack with kids yanking on their heads. Wish I had some of those pics saved or could find the old thread to refresh everyone's memories.

Such a shame. The people got probation and can't have horses for 3 years. Heaven help some horses when these people's 3 years are up!

I've seen a couple cases where courts sentenced these kind of abusers to jail with just water and crackers. These people should be precluded from ever owning ANY animal again. Terrible.

And look at the pics on their website, with the kids standing on the horses, looks totally fake !!
