I took my retirement gift (a gift certficate) and bought camping gear for the horse trailer (we have at least 3 horse/camp trips planned this summer). Sleeping bags, propane stoves, cook and flat ware, I'm just TOOO excited!

Now...if it would just quit raining long enough to dry up so we can camp!

I did the same thing when I retired, and have yet to be able to use the trailer. But that is supposed to change this coming weekend!! Loading up Cita and heading to Arkansas! Woo HOO! :jumpy

Nope, no baby yet. I think she's holding out for warmer weather - which suits me to a T!

Today should be dry and in the 50's...I plan to ride and get this placed cleaned up...got to pressure wash my old trailer and put an ad in for it.

Thank you Rusel...it WILL be heaven ONCE it's summer! LOL Today it's blowing rain and cold. It should be nice this weekend and we have a ride planned. It'll be my first initiation of the new trailer.

Right now my wrists are inflammed from my first 'project'...putting together cabinets and drawers for inside my 'living quarters'....OUCH. Oh well, no pain, no gain.

I really look forward to this year...and have looked forward to it for years. Now, I just need the sunshine to cooperate!
