My first ride since last summer :-)))

Boy it felt GREAT to be back in the saddle :-)))!!She was so wanting to be ridden that she kept her head low for tacking up and didn't move till I was all the way on,i'm usually finishing getting on as she starts walking...maybe I did better than I thought at fixing that last summer :D !She is SO calm!The calmest paso I personally have ever known.She will go faster than a walk if I ask her to but she doesn't really like to,she'd rather just stay busy walking walking walking.I love having such a calm horse but i'm thinking Cola is going to have more brio and i'm looking forward to getting her started.Just had to share my good ride with you all :-)!Your friend,Moniece

Glad your first ride of the season was a good one!! I ride all winter, so I never go through the "I wonder how he's going to act...". Except, Listo did get hurt, so he had about 5 weeks off. That's the longest I've ever gone without riding him.
