We got it too but didn't lose anything. Just lots of lightning and rain which we needed badly.

We didn't get nuthin' :( And boy do we need rain. It is so dry down here it wouldn't take much to have the wildfires begin. Pastures are turning brown and this is supposed to be spring.

You can have some of our rain - close to 3 inches - some wind, but none of the damage they had south of us !
We need sun and breezes to dry out!
Finally they are saying we don' t need any more rain ! :D
We were way behind for all winter - after drought last year !

I came close to having another Pine tree hit me today. I was parked along side of the rode while nozzleing out a job when I hear a crack and explosion. I looked around the corner of the building to see a pine Laying on the power lines beside my truck. When the sparking quit I jumped in and got it the heck out of there.

Boyd, you might want to stay in the basement on these windy days from now on. It sounds like they are gunnin for ya. But not my basement. I have too many trees and they might try to go through the house to get you.

We had some high winds but thankfully no damage. I thought for a minute I might lose a barn door. While I was trying to close it, the wind caught it and it was everything I could do to hold it and get it latched. The storms sound so much more frightening in the metal barn.

The weather here was only a showing of my emotions at the moment....
Last night was hail and strong wind with lots of rain, today was weird stormy weather with wind, flash rains, and cold temps jumping in here - the clouds said tornados like they have so often up here on the top of the mountain but I can not say this time any were formed from this ridge even though Kingsport was named on the news for a sighting....
The only damage I have is one old redbud could not hack the weight of the top of a pine tree when it snapped in half (got that mess to clean up tomorrow).... and I really liked that tree, it was just starting to bloom too....

I was in eastern PA yesterday and there was a tornado watch. Luckily, we saw no signs of it, but the clouds looked ominous.

The storms just made me mad!
Yesterday morning I was running from the house to my car in my flip-flops. I did not want to get wet. One of my feet went out from under me and I went down backwards, laid out flat. My butt and the back of my head took most of the impact. I just laid there silently cussing myself and letting the rain pelt me. A big clap of thunder finally got me moving. My neck hurts really bad today.

Then, that afternoon...
The wind blew a giant box off my back porch. It was filled to the brim with packing peanuts- and they were not the biodegradable kind  . My back yard was white. When the wind blew it looked like a snowglobe with all of the peanuts flying around. Guess what I spent yesterday afternoon doing?
