Anyone going to the May 19 Syracuse all breed show? Paso's will be May 19 and 20th, but more classes on Friday. Would like to meet any of you. I will be there with my friend Karla who also owns pasos.

Well,we went. Very poor turnout. Buttermilk farms was there with a client and a couple horses to get used to the show atmosphere. Del Fuego and Judy Wycoff were there. We wewnt on Friday, so maybe Sat. was better. There were only 1-2 horses in the classes AND ?because of that weren't even given a proper ring to show in!!!!

But...because everyone had time on their hands we were able to talk a lot more to the owners and trainers than usual. AND...we were able to ride one of the mares. She was a lot of fun...can't remember her name. I rode at least 30 minutes and only stopped so my friend had a chance. The trainer (Buttermilk farms) said I was doing very well and had good form!! BF has always been very nice and easy to ask questions of.

Sorry...we both realized we left the camera in the car in her purse!! Wonder if Lisa saw a better turnout on Saturday???

Usually the Wyckoffs' are there, I hope to be there no Saturday for the day (no horse to show), bobby Yunits and Co. usually bring horses, Nola and Maribelle.....

Anyone have a horse they want to put in trail/versatility but don't/can't ride?????? I think at least one of those classes has been added to the show bill......

Yep!.....I was thinking if someone already had a horse there and wasn't able to ride it in the class (already riding another horse for example).....I'd be game!

Unfortunately I didn't make it out there - Tori was sick (102.5 fever!)...she's better now.........too bad about the turnout - that is a hard show to get people to - when I showed Marci as a 3-4 year old we entered the ring about 1030 at night! Who wants to show that late, especially if you are there just to show, not gain points for Nationals?

Sorry Tori was sick. Gee, I thought and even clarified with them that it was double points toward nationals.....oh well.

Yes, turnout has dwindled in past years
