Has it crossed your mind that you (barb & shelley) were twins possibly separated at birth, and never knew it...one got given away and was adopted.

I dont know why i need to add more right now...i just do..this really hurts ya know? It seems you all are laughing at me and i dont know why you are....fine laugh away...we all have hurts in our lives and sometimes you just dont know why people would all pounce on you when you are down..i thought this was a caring forum full of people who really wanted to help each other...guess i was wrong

A lot of the people on this forum have different ideas about almost everything and some are more passionate than others. We all post things and may not realize it offends others since no harm was meant and some are not as articulate as others. If I attacked everyone that even posted something small against me, then I would expect to be attacked back. I, however, wouldn't always "run to the teacher and tattle" and then do the "poor, poor pitiful me, why is everyone picking on me" routine. If you choose to antagonize others, then you have to expect them to reply. If anyone acts like a juvenile, then they should be treated as one.

Don is a wonderful horse trainer, not an English teacher, and doesn't always know correct computer etiquette. I have never heard him say anything disrespectful about you and comparing you to a well-loved English princess (Lady Di) doesn't seem like an insult to me, but then I might be too ignorant to see the evil innuendo lurking in his post. This is not his forum, so why would he be expected to read every post? Why think he was only picking on you by only posting once in the contests that Lori specifically requested no posting about the entries in the contests?

We all have some problems in our lives and many here have worse problems than I could ever imagine having in my own life. This is a forum to promote the love of paso fino horses and to support others who also love the breed. That is what Don meant by "get a life." We need to be uplifting and not always trying to cause problems. We attempt humor once and a while and sometimes posts make us laugh and forget our problems for a moment and once and awhile the humor is obscure and not easily understood so appears stupid or mean.

For all of us, we need to see what we can do for the forum to make it better. I donated two breedings (Tikal de Nevado and Damasco del Ocho) to help Lori attract readers. Alex hands out flyers at shows and posts them on the walls. Are we perfect? FAR FAR from it, but we try to help in our own little ways. Let's all try to be a little less sensitive and "all just gait along."

It is NOT the forum leaders responsibility to read every post. It is only their responsibility to help answer questions in their forum, keep topics going and bring their expertise and knowledge to the forum. Don is in the training and tack forum. This is his first BB and no offense to him...but he is not that computer savvey yet. But he's trying and that's whats important. I asked him here myself to help us. He is not an expert typer so bless his heart sometimes his posts lack punctuation or he may not be up to par on nettiquette, but his heart is usually in the right place.

I do think you are being a little over sensitive here. JMHO
Everyone is lauging at Shelley and Barb. Why wouldn't they? They are quite humorous. Everyone had over looked the brief misunderstanding at the beginning were laughing it off. Sometimes laughter is the best way to diffuse a situation. I don't think anyone intended to make you feel attacked.

It sounds like maybe you have a lot going on right now Dianne. Perhaps a hug is in order? :hug
I happen to talk to many of you by email, PM, IM, or phone so I know what is going on behind the scenes. We ALL need to remember that every single other person is having something in their life stressful as well. If someone snaps or responds a little harsh....you never know what could be driving that...it's best not to be bothered by it and move on. Chalk it up to their bad day....it happens to everyone. I promise. ;-)
