*giggle. snort.* Not really.
I actually bought this so I can start getting some exercise.
One doc says don't walk.
Another doc says don't jog (yeah, like I would!).
As some of you know, my last foray on a bike was a DISASTER,
so riding a BI-cycle is obviously not gonna fly.
So here's my newest form of exercise, and a tablespoon of gas savings to boot!

Recumbent trikes are a great way to get around and get a little exercise... Good luck with it!

How cool. Hope you really use it. If it was mine...it would be taking up space in the garage.

I will use it to go for the mail, for sure.
I will use it to go for coffee at the neighbours, for sure.
Beyond that ... I dunno.
We live in the middle of nowhere.
The nearest (small) town is 20 km away, and it's all on the busy TransCanada Highway.
But, I'm planning to tour around on the backroads just for the heck of it. Maybe we can rig up a carrier and take it with us when we go to Calgary and I can amuse myself on it there! They've got some awesome trails along the river.
I have GOT to get some exercise! So now I have a recumbent kayak that one pedals (it is tres cool!) and a recumbent trike! Maybe I can pull my recumbent kayak down to the lake using my recumbent trike! *grin*

Reminds me of something my dad once made for my mom and she loved using it in the summers for a couple of years. It was a novelty. You also couldn't get the kids off of it. I think you'll enjoy it!
I told Scooter if gas prices keep going up I'm going to start riding him to work. He just snorted at me. Not sure if that means he knows I'd have nowhere to tie him when I got there and that I'm just kidding.........or if that was a flat out refusal......lol

When I was a teenager, I had a job at the local eatery during summer vacation. I used to ride my horse there each day and tie him to a tree out back with a bucket of water and hay that my mother would bring by Pinto (Ford Pinto, that is) It worked out well and I was able to help support my horse habit.
I wonder if customers noticed their waitress smelled decidedly horsey; none of them every said anything. ;-)

Soon as "that thing" gets here, Niki! *grin*
It's coming from Utah. And if any of you want one, drop me a line. He'll build one for less than I paid on eBay!
