Here is a Bochica granddaughter "Isabel de Intocable" I bought as a yearling and later had as a beginners' mount and as a broodmare. Pics are from the 1997 NC State Fair Horse Show for Country Pleasure.

Cindy, do you think the curly tipped ears came from Bochica? Zapata looks alo like Bochica Tres in form. I did get to ride Bochica Tres on one visit to CA.

I would say yes but it seems to me that I have seen those ears on descendants of Marichuela as well so I cannot say for sure.

This is my Bochica grandson. Watching him move is an absolute joy. But I have to say that my favorite thing about him is his personality, he loves to bond with people and will follow you around everywhere. I never imagined that a stallion would be so gentle and easy to take care of!!!!

Our Bochica boy, great grandson, grandson of Gaspar de Santa Monica, son of Bochica. He's also grandson of Piloto de Resorte IV and grandson of our buckskin colored dun mare, Vanidosa, direct line to ResorteIII from Perfume and Perfume II. He's a real gaiting machine. When we did the photo shoot I rode him for thirty minutes at least and he didn't miss a step. I was amazed since I hadn't ridden him for three years. I'd forgotten how good he was since Kyle rides him.
