What performance or fino stallion have the largest

Frame. I am talking about the stallion non pleasure who is stocky. Thickest bones, lagest muscles, biggest body. Not really talking about being tall eather.

This is a picture of our Petrolero colt taken in December at 17 months. He is 23 months now and is 14.1 hands and has a big frame. He is also quick and short. My mare is only 13.2.

We bred to get size for my husband's personal mount and looks like it worked.

I know that Plebeyo lined horses are built pretty stocky. We have a Plebeyo dos son at my barn and he is bult like a bull. Also just to add, plebeyo is known to produce stock and HOCK. People breed to Plebeyo lined horses just for the hocks.
Also a large horse is Dos ventidos. Tall AND wide.
And all these horses ,Plebeyo, El Classico, Dos ventidos, are known for their FINO gait. ;-)

Yes, most Plebeyo lines are stocky some say this feature comes from his sire Chucuano from the pictures I've seen of Marelyn's stud Plebeyo Dos - He's quite stocky and handsome!

My mare Esperanza de America is a grand daughter of Plebeyo by her dams side and she can pass as a stallion if you don't check.

Another one is Terremoto Dos - He's big as well- I own a complete sister of him and she has the same build he does and you can ask Lori how stocky this mare is ( Candela )

Classico isn't that stocky but most of his offspring are, his son 222 ( Dos Vientidos ) is real nice. I have pictures of most of these horses which I might post just for you. Another one of his kids is Trovador del Danubio.

Capuchino passes his stuff as well you can see the proof on the Capuchino offspring topic going on elsewhere on the forum. One of the kids on here Monika owns a Capuchino grandson out of Capitan de La Vitrina and he is the nicest thing. Some pics of him are on this site as well.

** edited to add that Prometido is also a huge one. I was going through the pictures just now and forgot to mention him. I'll be posting some pictures for you in just a bit.

You might want to check out Darlene Wolharts collection or you may even ask her which one she believes was the stockiest one. Shes photographed and seen mostly all of the Stallions the Paso Fino Breed has today.

I agree with 222, Prometido, Trovador del Danubio, and Capitan from what i have seen in photos. Those are big boned horses. I want to see huge chests like the old style qh. Here are some examples of what i mean.

mmm....OH! Andante de Besilu...thats a BIG boy! Huge chest. Plebeyo dos is wide chested too. I am going to try to get a picture of Andante.
You know who else is wide is Simbalo de Besilu, he was short but looked like they stuffed him with marshmallows. He was out of Monarca de Besilu, who was taller then him and also wide. I have a stallion out of Monarca and he is about 14'3 and wide...big butt, so Monarca must throw large too.

I think the best one today is Jaranero - at this past Mundial he was Bella Forma World Champion

If you want chests - look at the PPR's. OUr PPR mare's chest is so huge her shoulder's are like shelves. She's huge boned and massive.

Check out this boy - unfortunately died recently but has many offspring. He's her nephew by the way and a PPR champion.
