horses being lazy after a hard afternoon grazing, look at the 3 older horses all in a group holding each other up.
and Pillo , that was just gelded taken a good rest.

check out my cool round pen riding area I just put up. back end of the pic kind of hard to see. but is is pretty big.
I took the pic. out the second store bedroom window.


I use to ride in the ring but the sand is WAY to deep, OK for them without a rider but very a bit to much with a rider.

I want to run around in all that open space around the paddocks.

I love the setup, too. And the round pen does look big.

A horse would be pretty lucky to be napping in a nice paddock like that.
What kind of sand did you use?

well, thats a good question a friend owns a sand pit here in town, and he knew I needed paddoc sand, but it is like beach sand, and he gave me so much in some spots it is very deep.

I just got done riding the grey in the new ring, and it was nice I could ask her for a FAST trot ( she is a half paso , no need to post, but not a true 4 beat ) and a nice canter.

I am excited. :smile:
