A bit before 6am the phone rang to say he was here early. So I threw on my clothes and grabbed the camera.

Stupid me forgot to put new batteries in so I missed that unloading off the trailer which she jumped 4 feet in the air off of it. EEEEEEk!

She was a bit nervous of all of our dogs barking but the guy trailering her walked her right past and to the back and into her stall.

Liberty the Saddlebred filly greetd her and was quite happy to have a friend next to her since her other friend left last week.

The sun was up and no decent pictures were to be had so I will have to wait untilt he sun is higher or towards dusk tonight for decent pics. She is really friendly but has no manners and really needs some training and attention.

Her mane is going to be spectacular, It's got a decent amount, on both sides  More then the 2 yr old next to her. Twice as much lol

As soon as possible I wil upload and share some pics.

Don;t mind some owies she has above her eye and on her, she tried climbing out the trailer while she was in it. :-? Just nicks, nothing bad or alarming.

I love her already!

Can't wait for the pictures. Yeah, they frequently get a few nicks trailering until they learn to just behave in there. Glad there is nothing worse.

Sounds lovely. There is a thread on here not too long ago about training the mane to one side...essentially wet generously with Cowboy Magic and braid it on the side you want it to fall. It's 'generally' best to fall on the off side, but I go with wherever the majority want to fall naturally.

Good luck!!!

LOL Hers is rall of it right down the middle. Not more or less on one side or another. She has so much mane!

Well I got one pic that tells me what she thinks hehe

I tried to take pics and I got glare, shadow and butt pics (since from that side I was in the shade). An eyeball pic, so yes I think they will wait.

Now since it's already getting warm I can't do anything until about 7pm tonight. So I can just sit and watch her from my office window.

My husband who slept through the phone calls, the trailer pulling in, the dogs barking, the horses neighing etc came to say hi to her which surprised me since he has shown absolutely no interest in her whatsoever. He pet her, scratched her withers and smiled. Why do I think he is going to fall for her? I think her doe-like eyes melted him. Men.....

Oh I finally got her registered name:

DeansTrinket de Margarita

I got a few of her which were better then my first try LOL

They are Here (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v92/JennLM/Trinket/050106/)

She actually eagerly ate her dinner and all is well from her travels. Eating, drinking and moist pooping. Her first one was hard so I added kool-aid to her water. Seemed to work.

And out of my husbands mouth tonight was, "We should have just stuck with Pasos" and a sigh. I think he has realizes what a mistake the Saddlebred boy was. So the search for another will continue once we move.

where???

Kool aide in the water? Does that work? I've heard of Molassas in the water but not Kool aide? is that better?

She is really cute! I know you will have lots of fun with her and yes, Pasos are the best! Why settle for anything else when you can have a paso?

Well they said Buckskin but it's Dun to me since there is a dorsal stripe and stripes on her legs but, it's really an odd color. It's such a light tan but I swear it's a greyish tan. Someone mentioned her being grey and it's not grey but her dad was grey and maybe she will end up grey. I dunno. Here mom stayed this body color but a bit lighter (no dorsal stripe or stripes on legs) with a bit more grey in her mane and tail though still tan.

Sorry though the link would show better will fix it.

What a cutie.
How old is she? She looks sweet.
She is some kind of dun by the looks... is there something called a silver dun?
I think my new baby will end up that colour (see her in my post below called "New buckskin? filly... pics" or something like that)[/img]
