View Full Version : Sad news - for me
I am afraid that my plans for bringing a PF to Malaysia will have to be put on hold for the time being. Doesn't look good right now due to unforeseen circimstances. Really not feeling great but I shall take my wonderful horse for a loooong trail ride today and he will make me feel better.
It was fun getting to know y'all but I shall retire from the BB except for lurking. Good luck to everyone and best wishes. Thanks for all the help you guys offered and for all the chuckles and smiles this BB fostered.

Where did you get the idea you can't talk to us if you don't have a Paso Fino? All you need to do is "like" them !
Don't just lurk - You have horse knowledge to share ! ;-) So share it !

There is a lot of advice and training tips shared here that are not breed specific at all. I'd stay. I use what I learn on my my Paso and my Appy.
Come on, you know you wanna stay. Look how cute we are.

I dont see anything in this post about Remy feeling she cant stay here because she doesnt have a Paso.. :-? Maybe she needs to leave us for awhile becaue her hopes have been dashed (getting a Paso) and its to depressing to stay
Remy I hope your unforseen circumstances are nothing along the lines of a major health or financial disaster. And I agree with the others, if your reason for leaving is because you feel you need a Paso to be here , please reconsider
You guys brought tears to my eyes. Nice to know how wonderful some people can be. It's rather tough right now and tomorrow we have to go to Thailand for a few days to take care of some business. That will help take my mind off things. I am sure I shall feel better about this soon and I will hang around if y'all don't object to a PF less albeit horsey person. Thanks for making me feel so welcome and brightening my day.

Remy, I was Paso-less for quite a while and still a member. We also have a TWH and Arabian and hope to have another Arabian one day. There are plenty of Paso-less members. I hope you will stay and share more of your travels and adventures with us. We will miss you if you leave.

Remy, I am so sorry you can't get a Paso there. My sister faces a similar ordeal trying to get one to Spain.
I don't see anything in the BB rules that says you have to own a Paso or be looking to, to be a member of this BB. I have found your posts interesting and informative.
I'll join the others and ask you to stay and share your interesting tales and insights. Don't just lurk, participate.
Enyoy Thailand, take your Tums. ;-)

I don't have a Paso either but I keep coming around here every few days or so! I like it here and it always makes me keep the dream of owning a paso alive! LOL

Wow, I must have missed this post while I was at the show.
I am so sorry to hear that Remy, but you just never know what the future may hold for you.
I understand it might be a little sadistic to hang around here and be Paso-less, but just look at paintedhorizon and baileyholc...it must not feel too bad b/c they beat themselves up daily. 8-) Just think....if you put your learning on hold...you will kick yourself later on for wasting all that time when your dream does become a reality. Trust me, I wish I had started the learning process earlier than I did....
So maybe you won't be importing Pasos to Maylasia right now. But when is your next trip to the states? Nothing says you can't have some awesome experiences w/some awesome paso ppl while you are here.
Sending you internet hugs ((((((hugs)))))) Hope to see ya round still. ;-)
