Hey, since I'm new, I was wondering if people would want to describe or talk about the Pasos, or Paso, they ride, or just plain like. ;-) Well, here are the Paso Finos I ride:
Mico= He belongs to Chrissy. Mico is very smart, and he has a unique personality. I used to ride him, along with Chrissy on Rio, but he's taking his own summer vacation. So I'm riding......
Micka= Micka is a half Paso Fino. She is very smart, and she likes to look in your pockets for carrots and such. I like her a lot, especially because of her calm, easy-going attitude. When I went to jump her, you know, just to show her she can just go over a log, (and that it won't hurt her), she just kinda checked it out, then sort of went, okay, I can do that. She even "jumped" it. It was lots of fun, especially when I was riding with Chrissy, on her horse Rio.
So, please reply to this post about YOUR Paso Finos. I like to hear about other horses, especially their personalities. Some have minds of their own, yet others love to do what their rider wants. ^_^

Hi, I ride 4 horses of my own (3 are Pasos I'll talk about them 'caus theyre the BEST lol)
~Ritmico~He is a bay 5 yr old gelding who is probably better then most humans I know. I show him in performance/pleasure. I trust my horse more than I trust most people too (if you tell him your secrets he doesnt tell lol)
~Niebla~ She is a dark bay 4 yr old filly. She is very sweet. I show her in Fino.
~Guardian~ He is a bay 9 year old gelding. He is my mom's horse so I dont ride him that often. We don't show him, except local fun shows, but maybe later this summer we will. If you ask anyone who has just seen him in his stall they would probably say he looks mean..but he is not once he is out of his stall he's sweet.
I also ride horses owned by our friend Sue
~X-tremo~ He is a dun 7 yr old gelding. He is AWESOME to take out on trail and as soon as he is outside he's ready for anything!!! He has the thickest head of hair I've seen to date on a horse.
~Bambino~ He is a black 6 yr old gelding. He can be shown fino or pleasure. He is a fun horse to ride and is very sweet his nickname is "the baby boy" (as his name means)
~Tabaco~ He is a chestnut 4 yr old gelding. He can be shown fino or pleasure. I havent ridden him as much as the other to...but I am possibly showing him later this summer (who knows... lol)
**Those are pretty much the horses I ride day-to-day but I do ride other horses when I have the chance.**
Hope that described them as best possible (Britany aka cutieblueeyes will probably come in after me and describe X-tremo better as she rides him too)

I ride 4
Indio- he's my first paso fino. He's chesnut. He's 10. Can jump prolly at least 5 ft. but i'm not ready for that high. Has a really smooth canter. Can trot on cue. Isn't the best gaited horse but he taught me alot. is show sour so all i ride him in is versatility at shows
Canela- my 3rd paso fino. Blind in one eye. Is 18. Used to be really performance. Is bay. love to ride her backwards on her.
Chico- my 2nd paso fino. Pure black. Is really nervous b/c he was abused. I'm in the process of being trained.
George(triunfo)- He's not mine i just ride him. Really nice pleasure.Chesnut. 13 years old.

i THINK i taught him. See he reminds me of a human so if i let him trot one time he prolly remembered
I ride :
Prometheus De La Tierra aka batman- whom I love and adore. He is an absolutely adorable black gelding. He is small and has the cutest little ears for those of you who have not seen them you need to. He gets so jealous when he sees me riding another horse and paces at the stall door.

Going back to Riomyhorse, (Chrissy), Rio is awesome. He does whatever you want him to do! And Chrissy usually brings out the best in him, like that smooth canter they did last week.

I ride my own two finos,
Marinero, 11, gelding, bay, I ride him the most of all, he competes in Fino Gelding.
Serano, 11 too, gelding, uhm buckskin? (don't know the colors in english well), he's mostly my training horse and trail horse.
Barbaroja, 4, gelding , chestnut?, I ride him because his owner doesn;t care about him, and he needs riding.
And I ride alot of other horses too at other ranches and at my own ranch, where my horses are stabled, I ride everything, Fino, trocha , TyG and sometimes mules too. Mostly I help with the training of 2year olds, Just sit on them while they get lunged and stuff. Just teaching them the basics
paso chikkaaaa.

The Pasos I own and Ride...
Quincallero AA- Quincallero is a 4 year old chestnut gelding with a left hind pastern and no face markings. He currently shows in sub-junior and schooling classes. He has also showed in numerous championship classes and shown everyone what an excellent peformance horse is like. Watch for him in the 2005 Nationals.
Valida Engratcia PF- Valida is 5 years old and has a beautiful headset. She is bay with a white star on her forhead. She has a left hind partial pastern. She is out of Profetea De Besilu and Esperansa De Capuchino.
She shows in Peformance and pleasure as well. Keep a close eye for Valida Engratcia PF.
Nastalia- Nastalia is so fun to ride. When we came down for the Ocala show Quincalllero was not ready for me to ride so my trainer just pulled Nastallia out of the pasture even know she has been in the pasture for a few months. She is an angel. Nastalia is grey with a star, stripe, and snip on her forehead. We started showing her in pleasure. My parents always video tape my classes. We noticed that Nastalia was not doing so hot. We watched the tape. Nastalia was not peforming the required gait for the class because she was finoing. So now we show her in fino and we kick butt.
*** These are the 3 that i mainly show. I have about 8 babies and 2 have not been born.
