how do you resize the pic so it doesn't show up huge when it is sent out...

You have to open the picture in a photo editing program like photo impact or software that came with your camera..I usually make mine 350 X 350 the camera makes them like 2,000 something and they are HUGE

I found the image size on the edit program that came with the camera.... but was unable to change properties. I changed image size on Photobucket and got it down small, but when I link to it, it still comes up huge. grrrrrrrr.....

I don't know what kind of camera you have, but mine has a feature where you can adjust the size on the camera itself. It adjusts the number of pixels that the camera takes the photo at. I use the fine setting, which is 640 x 480 pixels.
