Leaf sledding - pictures!!

We went up the mountain again to continue cutting the downed trees to clear our trail and once again Kyle decided that instead of walking down, he was going to ride his purple sled down the mountain. This time I managed to get some pictures because it's so hilarious!

Actually he goes very fast but at the point where he was laughing he had to plant his feet because a large boulder had rolled right into the middle of the trail. I pushed it on down and over to the side so he could continue his sledding! We use the sleds to pull the chain saws, gas, water, snacks and other gear up the mountain and he just decided to put them to good use on the trip down. May as well because it's so steep and the leaves are so slippery you end up on your butt anyway!!!

I don't have a death wish!!! Actually we have two sleds and mine pulls me down the hills because it has all the junk like chain saw, gas, oil on it so no room for me. Also I have the most padded butt in case I slip and slide down without a sled!

I've seen video of people "sand boarding" and it looks like GREAT fun!!!

It is, only you get sand EVERYWHERE. But the beach is nearby :D
