The first one looks taller then they say he is, the second one is definetly short, the third one looke good. I prefer the first and the third one. JMHO

I like the first one but the price is way out of my range. I love the second ones color but the 3rd one the price is ok and he looks but they don't have enough of the sires blood line. I would like to see more of that.

I wonder why if the first one is from full Paso stock it is not registered with the Paso registry but instead the Single Footed one. Is this normal since I am new to Pasos?
The second one looks a wee bit short, but cute again Single Footed Registered..
Ditto on the third..
For a trail horse I guess it doesn't matter if it's not registered as long as it has the right temperament, soundness, gait and personality you are looking for. Right?

That would be my question as well, Jenn. And if they are not registered with PFHA, you have no idea that these are really their lines. If that matters to you.

I don't like the 3rd one at all - he is all camped out and icky looking conformation wise - plus he looks wormy to me.
I like #1 the best out of the bunch. Karma (#2) looks unhappy.

Terry needs to get on this one...I think she will tear them ALL up.
#3 looks like a trainwreck to me. Really weak legs.
The first 2 are awful small...guess that is ok with you.
None of them appeal to me, I suppose.

What I got from the web site is that they are NSFHA registered. That means Fino, right? Also, I heard from a little bird that this person is bad news. If you are interested the web page is www.atigradoacres.com but, I don't think I will be buying from them. They are way over my price range for just a trail horse.
Yes, I agree Terri does need to get on this one.

No, that has nothing to do with Fino or with Paso Finos. I believe it is for Single Footers.

No. National Single Footed (footing) Horse Association. It is a gaited association but is not associated with PFHA and these geldings could not be shown in PFHA until registered with PFHA.
As geldings, I don't see where it matters who/what/whether at all they are registered with unless a person wanted to show PFHA.
I think all three could make fine trail mounts. However, their conformation varies considerably and I feel Atigrado was correct in gelding them out of their breeding program, which I think is a program geared toward color? I don't like placing color above conformation in any breeding program and I am glad to see they 'weeded' these stallions out.

the second one actually says they wouldnt be eligible to be registered with PFHA doesnt it?
You guys knocking these 13-14 HH horses. Predjudiced Paso People!!! Our best horse here is 13.3 Now he may not be a show horse and he may be a hair lazy ;-) but everyone who rides him says when I need to find him a home call them .He is a little brick house and is just a nice horse. The two 14.3 HH are hard to mount for short people and one is a fruitcake the other picks which days he wants to be brave and which ones he is a scaredy cat..its the size of the heart that matters..

I have a 13.2 hand horse that can take the weight not "flexie" and can out walk, gait, and run all the other, and is a very faithfull mount.
but lots of people do not like anything under 14H

That part is not a gimick. Debbie King has started the Spanish Jennet Horse Society for registering and showing spotted Paso Finos and Paso Fino crosses like Tiger horses. I agree the Jennet is extinct, the registry for them is not.
