Went on a nice ride at Hay Creek in MN a few weeks ago, chico and his water, he just loves it!!

People who ride w/me always say : He's gonna roll! But he never does, he just loves to pay and get his play time in.. Now if I am not in the saddle he might, but he knows not to roll when I am on him..lol

My two horses always play around in the water too..gets me and everybody else around all wet :lol:

Jen, I love those pics. Looks like it was a nice day, although you were wearing your duster, so it must have been a little chilly!

Listo likes to play in the water too. We were riding saturday, and he wanted to play in the watering trough up on the trail. He likes to paw if he can, but mostly put his whole face in, up to his eyes, then swish back and forth. It's ptretty funny to watch!

Chico is looking tough these days. 8-) Look at that hiney.

Funny story on Eclipse (the Miami horse I have at the ranch). When we first let the horses out into the block w/the front pond, he wouldn't go in. Princess could be in there pawing and rolling and enjoying and he would stand and watch from dry ground.

Well, recently he hurt himself again. :roll: And mom had just finished doctoring him up and vet wrapped his boo boos before letting them go out for the day. She said he went straight to the pond, walked in, pawed for several minutes and got out w/wet bandages. :-?

ACutally yes it was a little chilly, I did take it off later... That was in late May that ride... It is actually a very light jacket.. :D

yeah, Kysa's says chico is getting Buff! I love it too! :D

E sounds like he has a mystivous side..lol

Chico is beautiful! I had a paso that used to like to paw in the water, and one day he surprised me and went down so quick I barely had enough time to jump off. I think it surprised him when I jumped off so he didn't end up rolling. :shock:
