River Valley Farm’s first foal of the year

Just thought that I would share some pictures of our latest addition to the farm, Piper. This colt is our stallion’s first foal of the year and we’re pretty excited. He may only be ½ Paso, but he’s 100% cute! :D

Yep, he IS 100% cute. I love the babies. Congratulations. BTW, I have a 1/2 paso, 1/2 paint in my barn that gaits 1/2 the time (not kidding) and when she does, she is smooth as silk.

Thanks for the complements everyone. Foals are so much fun!
The pinto mare is the only non-Paso at our farm. She is such a reliable mount that we refuse to sell her. We have had her since she was 6 months old and she is definitely one of our best horses.
We also love her markings. She has a white spot that looks similar to a map of the United States. (Picture shown below.)

Here are a few photos of Piper’s papa, our stallion Cielo Grande Cristobalito. He is a sweetheart. The large white star on Piper seems to be Cristo’s trademark. All of his foals have a large star, except one filly with a blaze.
