Why do llamas always look so P O'd?

In this picture it is because Jr is really pissing her off he was pulling at the wool on her neck.

No, I don't mean just in this picture...it seems they always look that way, ears pinned, nose up, like they are mad at the world.

Shelly...I thought Llamas could be aggressive. Do they consider Jr part of their herd? What do they do when he pesters their babies?

Just wondering.

The black one that's eating hay doesn't look po'd. ;-)

It seems like she would like having the loose wool pulled off. Seems like it would be itchy. There are some camels close by (same place that has the baby donkey) and I always want to go pull all that fur stuff off. It looks like it would drive them nuts. Does the wool come off in big clumps like camels?

Yes they are aggressive to animals that do not belong..they know that Jr belongs here...Condesa would not let him by the llamas for a few weeks..The adult llamas let him play with the babies but if the babies come running back to momma for help the adult llamas will reprimand him by spitting on him...actually I have only found a little spit on him once..They know he is playing...but I can tell he will be HELL on a llama

Actually there were NOT in his field but he is such a little shiat that I thought he needed them in there with him...

1 to teach him manners
2 so he would have friends to play with

I have always raised baby's with llamas and they are a great substitute for another foal.

I wouldn't separate them, discipline is good for him! Looks like that's what Jasmine is doing - I'm sure he had it coming.

Besides, he needs a playmate - they are perfect since you don't have any other Paso babies. Spit will clean off.
