Some of you may have heard that one of our Paso Fino Family is ill with Cancer. If you wish to send donations to the family for medical expenses, a fund has been set up to help.

Juan Carlos Iriarte is the son of Alvaro Iriarte of Startown Stables. If you are unable to send a donation, please include this family, who has done so much for the breed, in your thoughts and prayers. They will be greatly appreciated!

I didnt know that .I met Juan Carlos about 3 years ago .He was very nice and rememberd a mare that the Boss had there for training almost 10 yrs previous.

Ali Casey of Flat Rock Paso Finos was auctioning a filly at Asheville to raise money. Does anyone know how the auction went?

I'm sorry to hear this! I pray for his health and for the family. I'm quite acquainted with it, having lost loved ones and knowing some survivors. It's a tough battle, but there are winners. A person must fight no matter the odds.

So many fighting cancer and so many that are so young. Prayers for all.

It's a sad fact! A loved one had surgery at the end of last summer. While in the hospital, a loved one had a roommate, whose friend's 15-year old daughter had breast cancer.

Blameitonbrio....Ali told me at the show on Sunday the filly had raised $9K and she was delighted about that amount to help Juan Carlos!
