I realize that I am a few days early with this greeting but with many taking some vacation time around the 4th of July holiday I wanted to wish everyone a safe and relaxing weekend .

We live in the greatest nation in the world and for that I am grateful . Please take a moment this holiday weekend to remember our brave soldiers who continue to protect us and defend the values that we treasure all around the globe .

Thank you for remembering those who defend the lifestyle we take for granted. We may debate the wars we send them to....but we cannot debate that they are true heros. We sleep peacefully tonight because men and women are willing to die for us to have that comfort.

Tony just retired from 20 years as a Marine. I have to admit I'll miss tthe uniform :bsmile

Two of my brothers toured during Vietnam and two more served during those years but did not go there. We were lucky that they all came home. I was raised to respect the sacrafices they make for us.....some willingly.....some less willing but just as heroic.
