For those that talk about Walking Horses being checked, here is some of what they look for. This is the new ruling that took effect this year. It is made for sored horses, but also get horses with scars from natural injuries. You can't even get out of with a letter from your vet. It is long though.

I looked that the link and read thru it some mostly looked at the picutres.
I have afew question simply because I don't know

Some of those feet look really tall even before the pad why is that,if they are going to where a pad would you want the feet smaller.

How do they attach those huge pads to the feet?

Can those really padded horses walk with out pads?,like at eand of show season take them off can they move okay without them or once in those tpye of shoes always?

How do you excerise a horse all padded up do you just ride then can they be turned out to play with or without the pads.

Can the horse be taught to high step with out all that padded stuff?
