I just came home with a pallet of wood pellets for bedding. That's a ton, folks, 50 bags. I also have (20) 2x6's to unload. I think I will stall for a bit here on the board. Who knows, maybe if I stall long enough they will unload themselves? Dum dee dum....

Gee, are you using that lumber to build a portable woodshed to take to Perry with you?

Awww poo! I can't put it off any longer, rain is predicted for later on. DANG! If I'm not back in an hour, call 9-1-1, I'm probably keeled over under wood pellets & lumber. :(

If I say have fun will you beat me too? lol

Sucks to unload all that. My husband used to work the days we got in hay and I would have to unload it. Coincidence, I think not. Now we do cubes and I just open the garage door.

But this will be our 5th move in 5 yrs so envy all my packing and unpacking since I end up doing all of it too.

Awww Barbara...those kinds of chores are like dishes. They'll always wait for you.

Don't die. I have to go pick up a large tarp and a pallet of pellets and unload and restack them and tarp the hay that isn't in the pole barn.

It's always something.

I'm back, I only unloaded half the pellets and 3 boards. I decided to clean and bed the stall and pick the paddock, instead. I know I am going to regret not doing the rest, because now I will have to do it with hubby when he gets home, instead of riding. I feel like a load. I guess getting up at 4 am was not a good idea.

Oh, Privatetreaty, the weather conditions are 75 degrees, with 44% humidity and a wind speed of 13 mph, so you don't have to worry that I'm overheating. ;-)

CarolU,
I wish I had hay to unload. The situation is bad here. I'm praying last weeks rain will allow us to get some hay, if not all we need. Round bales went from $35 to $50 Ouch!!!!!

Okay, who was the last person that borrowed the Rain Dance Instructional video?

Well Barb, you shouldn't be hauling lumber anyhow.
Your gizzards may drop from between your legs and then you can forget about riding altogether.

awwwwww!!! that's only a few minutes of work, maybe 15, (at least for me LOL) not much compared to stackin rough lumber all day or moving hundreds of hay bales from field to truck, then truck to barn, and doin that at 90 and high humidity. I still have the last load on stock trailer and dump truck, was waiting for Kris to come help get it in the barn. took us bout 2 1/2 weeks to get the whole works mowed and dun up, barn is about full. need to cut it again in Sep. maybe. tel-ya-wat, u hire me a round trip ride on the presidents personal privet jet an i'll come do the job!!!!!!! not a good deal? OK guess yer stuck with the job.

i went to town this smorning to get some propagation supplies, then stopped by the house before headin up the hill to use em. a little warm right now, bout 90 with a thunderstorm just N of us makin it feel oppresive. eventually i wanna build a pool next to the propagation patch and run the spring water into it from the little spring. will do it soon as i get something started. maybe get started next week. thataway i can be a big frog when i get hot, and anyone i hire to help me will be required to jump in whenever they want to.

Few minutes work? :shocked Not for some of us, who are about 5' tall! It seemed to take forever to just put away feed this week! It's hot and humid here now, and the job had to be done when it wasn't raining. Do you have to have the president's jet? Can't you just mail yourself for the job? ;-) The water sounds fun if it was warmer!

CarolU~Don't laugh at me! I know what you're thinking, "the bags are bigger than her." I remember you laughing when I got stuck with a king-sized bed at Nationals one year.

Barb~I thought you were building stalls today! :-? ;-)
