600,000 duke power customers have no power

We were lucky to get ours back after 36 hours thanks to our local electric coop. There are actually shelters open because of this storm. They're targeting I think next Thursday to have all back on again but they are predicting snow this Sunday for our area. We don't usually get weather like this until Feb or March. Our goats all have a huge winter coat as do our goats. They look like bears they're so furry!
