Tikal de Nevado at Alexandra Paso Finos..........is now a proud part of the apf.com breeding stallion selection. Thanks so much to Marelyn Valdes.
Tikal was shown by his former owner in Puerto Rico and did well in their fino classes. He has two black sons which have just started showing down there, but I don't know any more about them.
He has been shown in performance and pleasure in the US. He was in the Top Ten Paso Finos in 2004 in the USEF and is again in the 2005 Top Ten Paso Finos in the USEF. He has a wonderful personality for a stallion and loves attention. He is an elegant black roan with a luxurious mane and forelock.
He has produced a black daughter, palomino daughter and a dark chocolate shade chestnut colt with flaxen mane and tail with my mares. His stud fee is $1,500 and he still has a breeding available through the PFHA Stallion Service Auction for half price. He is at Twin Roses Paso Finos in Georgia with Don Primrose and should be standing there for several months, except for when Don brings him to Ocala to service some of my mares. If his breeding doesn't sell through the auction, I plan to pay the PFHA to make his offspring eligible for the Breeders Sweepstakes. When his foals become a little older, I will also probably enter him into the Piedmont Futurity, where the offspring can win money from yearling through 5 years old.
Next contest starts now and ends Jan 15th. Winner to be announced by Jan 30, 2006.
