Erin....how much? That is the EXACT saddle Juan wants. He may be more comfortable in a sixteen - especially in the winter months with extra clothing - but ya never know......

I will let him take it and try it.

I have one of these saddles and couldn't be happier with it. i bought a used one to beat around the trails with. i didn't want to use my chilean (it's pure sheepskin) when there was a chance of rain because it takes forever to dry out.
totoa just LOVES it. fits her well, since she is fairly wide and the centerfire rigging is a DREAM!

LOL, I hear ya!

I had two of them this one and another one, one was mine I used all the time till I got my BM. the other ( this one ) is my daughters I bought her last summer.
but she does not ride enough. and I have 4 saddles sitting in the basement.

I just need to 1) make room and 2) get some extra cash for my cruise! ;-)

I'm trying to sell my 16" (17"???) close contact so I can buy a 15" Abetta endurance. Anyone interested? I'll sell it for the same price as Erin's selling hers - you can just send the money to her!!

In case anyone IS interested, it's a Blue Ribbon Avanti model. Purchased new for $1,200 or $1,400 - can't remember. I bought it from the original owner (when I was planning on getting a Tbred) and have only used it a few times. It's a narrow tree and doesn't fit any of my fatso horses. It's in good shape, not excellent but good. It didn't come with stirrups so those aren't included. An online appraisal site appraised it at approx. $450, give or take either way depending on condition. (They appraise by brand, description, etc). I paid $400 for it but would take less just so I can get a new one.

It's terrible having 6 saddles and only one that fits both of my horses and is comfortable! And Erin, if anyone buys mine, I'll buy yours.

SOLD! At least Erin's is. Now someone please buy mine so I can afford Erin's! I'll price it at $200 plus shipping - want to move it quick to make room for my new saddle. I also have a "mustang" saddle that I'll sell for $100. I've used it less than a dozen times - it sits a little high for me. 15" seat and light oil color. I can email photos if anyone is interested.
