I am dropping the prices of all my fillies to $1500.00 each... they are all very nice, well bred, beautiful stock, but I have 7 more coming in the spring and do not want to winter these fillies again.

Carol the only ridable horse for sale right now it the gelding listed above. I do have some amazing broodmares I have thought about training but I really don't want to give them up, such excellent stock it seems like a waste not to breed them. (someone has to offset all the junk out there today)

I would have killed for horses of this quality for these prices, I do not understand why I don't have customers fighting over these fillies! :-?

Ha...Cristy...how long you been in the business? Everyone wants trained, dead broke horses for $1500. ;-)

I've only been breeding for a few years....btw I sold my geldings for a little more than $1500 ;-)

I just don't understand why, I personally would much rather make them the way I want them instead of taking on someone elses glitches, and wierdness.. I have a few of those, very nice horses but wierd personalities.

How cheap do they have to be to sell them as babies? I think $1500 for a naturally gaited, show quality yearling is pretty cheap!

people are funny... some think nothing of dropping $40,000 on a hunk of metal (car) but want a perfectally manored, well trained horse for $1500? I'll never understand.

Hey woman...be thankfull you are not in Colorado! Horse sales are down so low..it makes me cringe. Though I have been breeding and selling horses for over 25 years now...I'm ready to QUIT...

Hay shortage, high fuel prices, no market in Colorado much for Pasos... (I have sold a total of nine Paso Finos....only ONE stayed in Colorado)... the high cost of fuel makes shipping a horse very expensive...the inavailability of hay for a reasonable price will take a farm or two under here I'm sure....

$3.00 a gallon diesel...and Hay (of any kind) over 20 cents a pound...when you are used to paying 10 to 12 cents per pound... well...you get the picture!

Yeah, thank God I have not noticed a increase in hay prices here. as far as the fuel prices I thing they will kill us all. We just moved closer to the farm and we are saving a small fortune in just the fuel difference!

(no taranchalas here either   )
