Played hookie yesterday....

I went riding with 3 friends yesterday instead of going to work! Shame on me, I know. I hadn't ridden Listo since 4th of July parade :(

We had a wonderful ride in the hills. A little cooler up there (mid 80s) as opposed to our 100 degree weather we've having down here at 4,000 feet.

I guess "trail horse" means so many different things depending on the area you live. I'd give Troy's right arm for those trees. What a nice trail.

Yes, he's 100% and loves to give test rides to newbies! His hoof has a line though. Vet said it would grow out in time. I'll be sure to take you riding in the aspens when you're out next summer! They need lots of sun and high elevation....

Yes, I've played hookie before.... of course today I'm paying the price. LOTS of web customers wanted stuff done. Oh well! Live in the moment, huh?
