Last week, we sent to go see a game at the local ball park. Our team, the Tri-City Valley Cats, got beaten, butt the night wasn't a total loss. 8-)

I was hanging out in front of the men's room, minding my own business, when "Baseball Sammy" emerged. I asked him if I could take his picture, he said 'yes', as he adjusted his hat, and put on his white gloves.

He said, "Why don't I go over to the standings board and point at our spot in #1, or do you want me to point at you?" He assumed the classic pose of Uncle Sam wanting 'YOU!".

I said, "You can point anywhere you want." I zoomed in on him, anticipating a money shot. He pointed to the standings, and feeling somewhat disappointed at his lack of imagination, I got this shot.

He is dressed like that because Troy, NY, where the stadium is, was the birth place of Uncle Sam. Sammy is the team's "rah-rah" guy, and he does all the contests and games between innings.

hey Barb, I am going to a AA baseball game (pawsox) tomorrow night I will bring my camera and try to get you some man can pics to add to the collection. :D Really there is nothing like a uniformed can ;-)

I hear ya, Kelly. When my husband and I were dating, he was in a baseball league. He was so handsome in his uniform, I couldn't help but fall in love. :D
