Embarrased why? I'm sure they spent some money on that, if the horses were bouncier more attention for them

   Too funny! You are right...didn't think of it that way. I was just thinking of the one girl that looked dangerously close to coming out of her top! But then again, she probably wouldn't have minded at all!

Ha! Brigette....you are too cute!
Thanks for posting the link.....those pics were interesting - in more ways than one  - I wish stuff like that happened around here!
When was that, anyway?

I don't exactly know, in the last week maybe? It's normally always around this time. I thought the pictures were great, the mule gang, people riding steers..wow

Yes....the ppl riding steers is amazing! I lingered on those pics for a while....I would LOVE to talk with those ppl about their training, the bits they use, if they trim the hooves, how much they ride.....so cool!

why does it look like they shave the mane on most of the horses?

Those are Trote Galope horses Erin. ;-)
Also, I found out in other countries many of them shave the mane and top part of the tail on mares when.

Every year Colombia breaks their own record, 5000 in '98, 0ver 7000 in '99 and now it looks like over 8000! I dream of being able to do a large cabalgata like that here in the U.S. PR's cabalgatas max out at approx 3500, tops.
Folks how about a 300 Paso cabalgata here in the northeast?
I think the northeast membership is just under 200, is that correct?
I firmly believe there are at least 100 non-members who keep a low profile. We need to find them and have them join up... if not as members of the PFHA or NEPFHA, at least with local events (parades and cabalgatas).

Jose......I'm in.
I will totally, 100%, absolutely ride in a cabalgata!!!! Just point me in the right direction, and I'm all over it like a cheap suit!
It would be freakin awesome!!! New England wouldn't know what to do about us!
Well allrightythen.
I wonder what cost more, the boobies or the horses?

Jose, is it required to have a huge rack to join your little cabalgata?

Kind of reminded me of Sturgis, except with horses instead of Harleys. Much tamer though! In Sturgis, alot of the biker chicks just wear those stick-on pogs (that just cover the nipple) instead of any type garment on top  That and a g-string, and they consider themselves dressed. I won't even get started on the latex pour-on clothing...... This is why my children are not allowed anywhere near Sturgis during the rally.
Nice pics! Thanks for sharing the link, Brigitte!
