I am grateful for all your suggestions. i kept my finger in the ice water till plastic started cracking and falling off and was talking to pasofantasy on chat and she did some healing reading for me and found that dmso helps. i had some gel simply laid my finger on top did not rub ub it or make it thick within 5 mins pain is gone!!!!!! Thank you Paso Fantasy

Oh, Wow! It hadn't occurred to me to put DMSO on a burn to kill pain;I had to read it! BTW it says not to use the stuff from the hardware store, but I figured you easily had it for the horses. I'm so glad, that it helped!
