On Saturday the 22nd, it was 113 degrees here -- an all time record since they started keeping records sometime in the 1800s. Saturday the 29th through yesterday, it was cool (low 80s) and misty/drizzly almost all day every day -- also really unusual, since it almost never rains here in the summer. Maybe the cool wave will be coming your direction soon.

It was so nice here yesterday that when we went to dinner it was beautiful on the patio eating out there.

The next 4 days should be cooler for us.

We had the heat wave you are having now last week. There is cooler on the way, so hang tight. Yesterday we got an inch of rain here in 20 minutes - truely amazing.
