Today has been a very exciting day for me. I have been on the edge of my seat since Sunday.
We have a new family member named Sarah as of this afternoon.
We were told she was rescued from a puppy mill all cooped up in a caged and kept bred.
She is a 7 year old female cream colored standard poodle. She is registered.
They told me she disliked me completely so when i handed Ellis the leash they jumped and said nooooo she dislikes men!
They said we could take her outside for a walk when we went to meet
her. I came back alone and the foster family were soo antsy asking me where she was when she walked in with Ellis and i called her to me she came over i pet her and she went back and sat on Elis feet. TO see thier mouths fall open was hiliarious.
They told the vet they could not believe she had made a liar out of them.
She needed a little grooming and somethign new for her so we went to Petsmart and she was groomed (stood so polite like a lady while they did this) then we found her a pink collar with bling a new leash and a frilly necklace.
She has settled in and gets along well with all my others. I am so happy I literally thought i was having a heart attack when we got out of the truck back at home. Was not sure how the oth4ers would respond to her.
