This is for southern Cali or those close to us in Nevada.
We are looking at pricing out an arena (100x200-two gates), roundpen (60foot-one gate) and 5 stall shed row area-2 gates each stall. each stall 12 x 36 with 12' covered.
If you know of someone selling it or know a place to get pretty good pricing please let me know.
There is such a price difference and we will have lots to put up since the house fell through, none of the others have any horse facilities out here. It will be much fun yeah! Unless.. Hmm maybe someone wants a nice vacation out here? Mwuahaha!

I frequently see ads in the local paper for used corral panels, but it's mostly a few panels here, a few panels there. How many panels would you need at one time to make a trip to Southern California worth your while?

My folks live in southern cali and have a truck with access to a HUGE trailer.
I found some good prices for a roundpen (60 foot $1,223 including delivery) and a 100x200 arena for $3,120 including delivery). Don't think we can beat those prices.
The 5 stall shedrow is the big deal right now. Still trying to find prices on those.

You might want to check out this place:

If you have access to a trailer and could pick up the materials yourself (instead of having to pay for delivery) it looks quite economical.

If you see a guy with a lot of military equipment laying around, chances are he buys at the government DRMO sales. They sell a lot of stuff CHEAP and it's a great place to buy pipe. Then all you need is a welder and you're set...or I'm sure they junkyard guy does welding too.
Steal is VERY expensive these days, so if you can find 2nd hand pipe, you're $$ ahead.
Also, know that the cheap panels are not heavy duty enough for corals. They're okay for a round coral or arena, but not permanent fencing. You're better off going the extra $ and either welding pipes, putting in pipe corals (like the pipe used for chain link fences), or buying the heavy guage panels.
Vinyl will not hold up in a coral situation and wood is too edible. I don't like wire for corals either - okay for pasture - but corals are too tight of space, you need SOLID fences.

We did notice some ads for Lifetime Lumber.

Has anyone used this before?
I would not used vinyl, wire, or wood for fencing.
Hmm I would have to find out what gauge the metal roundpen is... thanks for reminding me. (light or heavyweight)
