(A really embarrassing thing happened not too long ago...I was going to dismount sans stirrups, and almost fell flat on my butt...the nice lady I was demonstrating for had to catch me...sheesh... :oops: )

If it makes you feel better.......my stepdaughter was going to ride our Appy bareback. I told her that if you're going to be riding bareback you need to learn how to get up there without using a stool.

I vaulted up......slid over and under....and landed...PLOP on my butt on the other side of the horse.

She's such a hot ticket. Just sweetly asked me to do it again because she wasn't sure of my technique.
