My new horse

Nobody had heard yet but I got another horse. She's 4 1/2 and straight out of Plebeyo. Her mother i think was born in Colombia. She won't be ready for this years show season but be ready for us to be in the show ring next year. yes I have she's pretty much trained so that you can put pressure on the bit but she still isn't really comfortable with her gait. She's in and out of trocha. We're picturing her to be pleasure/performance. She doesn't pick her feet up high though but she's really quick. Her half sister on her mom's side is the same way.

I measured her with a measuring tape in inches and then i transferred it and it said she was 13.3 but I don't think it was quite accurate I think she is smaller then that. But yes her trocha is smoother then most horses gaits and when she's in gait you bounce but it's sorta of more of a power bounce then a bouncy bounce. Wow that confused me. :D I might breed her soon. i'll put her pedigree on here soon.

What a gorgeous girl!!! I know you'll have such fun with her. They have such great personalities!! Chinook is Plebeyo so we do love that line. She's 13 2 on the ground and 16 hands in the saddle and I bet your girl is too!!!

One thing Chinook will do that is really funny - she loves to hear herself on the fino board and although her fino is not really that fast it's very even and very powerful. She stands still on the fino board in gait and just pounds those feet. She makes more noise than a horse with shoes. It's hilarious but really cool!

Unfortunately I know she's going to lighten up. She's lightened up this already. She was really dark with hardly any white on her. She'll still be pretty dark for next year though. Sorry Pasoperson I can't get video's :( . The thing i like about her is that well...... I found out she has really really tight turns. So next year when i go into horsemanship and that kind of stuff i'm going to be able to hug the cones. LITERALLY. I literally lean sideways sometimes when she turns. :D :D :D :D :lol:

Oh, she is so pretty!!! I bet you two will have a lot of fun together. My first Paso was 13.2 hands and since I'm small like you I too love that height. As a matter of fact I almost didn't buy my second Paso because I thought he was too tall - 14.1!

Congrats!! Beautiful, but then I am partial to Plebeyo too as Ladybug is a granddaughter of his. She too can do really tight turns. Ladybug is 14.1, or close to it, just have a tape, not a stick. Her daughter is about 13.3 right now, she just turned 3. I have just posted pics of her under "second ride on Lightningbug". Have fun, they are really great and really smart!!
