Oh how they do grow. Since this is my first "child" it has been so amazing to watch her sprout! Here are some pictures of her from the beginning:

Gosh, you forget what a difference a month can make......She grew up somewhere between four months and five months!

She is a real doll! Congratulations!

I weaned her about a week after she turned 4 months and she really took off on a growing binge after that. There is actually about 5 weeks between those pictures but it is still a huge change. The halter she was wearing last week wouldn't even go on her today, she turns 6 months old on Wednesday.

Oh, I remember her! You posted that really touching photo of her and her dam looking into the cemetary. She is really turning out to be a beauty. Thanks for the updated photos. Keep it up. :D

I love series of photos like that!

The photo of her at 5 months somehow reminds me of my 13 year old stepdaughter. Is it that......I'm all grown up now.....look in her eyes?

Oh, I just love red-headed fillies. If I had space, I'd take them all.

She's a doll April, really growing into her own too. She's probably really sweet and doesn't bite or kick either...

What a pretty filly! Not only did she grow so much between 4 and 5 months, but she lost the baby coat to make her appear older.

Thanks everyone and you are right Carol, she doesn't bite or kick. One time when she was about 3 wks old she kind of nibbled at my arm and I popped her (lightly but it made her jump back) and a few days later she raised her back leg when I was brushing her rump like she was thinking of trying out her feet on me and I popped her on the back of the legs. She has never tried anything again. I treat her like a "little adult" and have just always expected the same manners as I would the other horses. I have never hand fed her and she is not mouthy at all. She is spoiled to death with tons of brushing and attention and I always keep a consistent schedule with feeding, turn-out, etc. She halters, leads, stops, backs, stands still (for a little while) and is always "watching" everything that is happening, she does a lot of "mind input!"

I know, my next one will probably be a maniac but I'm enjoying this first easy one for now!!!
