A most perfect horse

A friend and I went to the Hattiesburg, MS show this weekend. Browsing through the barns, I was stopped in my tracks by a mare watching me from her stall. She is art, poetry, a sculpture in motion. I stopped to take a better look, and she presented her lovely face for scratching. I can't remember the last time I was that blown away by a horse. She was sweetness personified. Then I noticed she was in a Greener Pastures stall.
Later, I saw her ridden by Robin in a pleasure class, which she won.
Oh, to have a horse like that. I just can't get over how incredibly beautiful she was to me. I wish I had taken a camera.
No point to this post. Just had to put into words about the most perfect horse I have ever seen. She is almost black with 4 white stockings, and a star and snip if I remember right. Oh, love. Oh, rapture.

I was too silly to get her name. I don't know that she was for sale...there was no sign on the door saying she was. If she was, she would be a million bazillion out of my price range! :roll:

I was riding Gala Ltd. She is owned by Daneen Hitchcock in Keswick Va. Her father is El Vicario Ltd and her dam is Maralee Ltd.

She is El Pastor/Hilachas bloodlines.

Thanks for asking about her. She is one of my favorites. She is a nice horse to be around besides her other good qualities.

Well that certainly explains it...one year at Nationals I toured every barn thoroughly. The ONLY horses I really LOVED the looks of were Daneen's. She still breeds lovely horses.
