Shooting Comet During Extravaganza PASO PICS

At Extravaganza, we were talking about Comet, but I found, that I didn't have any pictures of him on my camera. When I went to the farm for a break, I decided to shoot some pictures of him. The way, that his forelock parted, I thought I'd get a good picture of his comet-shaped star, but the sun pretty well hid it.

Edited Title~Just using his name may have been confusing, so I added, that it was a paso pic and changed it to one, which could have been even more confusing without that.

Oh, thank you! I think he's eye candy, and he's very sweet, too! He's unusually marked. There appears to be a roan sock on a front foot. His mane goes down past his shoulder. Unfortunately, a little boo boo shows in a larger version of the headshot, so I need another one later. Part of his mane was torn out a few years ago, so we had to stop showing him. Possibly, we will in the coming year.

Thanks, Barb! I'm not satisfied with the lighting either. His mane is on the other side and it's so beautiful now, going past his shoulder. So far, my favorite one of him is a front action shot, so I don't need it really. I'm just fussy and like to take pictures!

Lori, his dam looked almost black at her previous home, where she was out of the sun. I imagine, that Comet would, too, but he has a choice of his stall or being outside. He likes to run though.

Thank you, Carol! Besides well-gaited pasos, I like eye candy, so I he has to share my attention. His sire was a '95 Everglades Bella Forma Grand Champion. The day, that I took those pictures, I also shot Sara. She's so photogenic! I've posted much better pictures of her in the past though. That day, Alexandra kept bothering me for attention, so I gave up taking pictures of her. I'm also fond of Ray's son; then there's my ugly mare. ;-) You know; the one with nice legs! :lol: The one, that you said, I can't call ugly!

You can call her "not as pretty"....but not "ugly"...OK? ;-)

I don't usually call her that in real. I just tease here. When people compliment me about how pretty she is, I do tell them, that they should see her sister or maybe that she isn't compared to her sister.
